Frequently asked questions
Are the vocals royalty free?
The answer is yes! All of the vocals that are available for purchase are completely royalty free, which means that you can use them for any purpose you desire without having to worry about any royalty fees or copyright issues. This means that you can use the vocals in your own music, videos, podcasts, and more without having to worry about any legal issues or additional costs. So, if you are looking for high-quality vocals that are completely royalty free, you can rest assured that you will be able to use them without any issues.
Is it possible to include the name of the vocalist in my track?
Unfortunately, the answer is no. It is generally not allowed to use the name of the vocalist in any way after purchasing a vocal. The only exception to this rule is if you have specifically agreed with the vocalist to do so. It is important to be mindful of this rule and obtain proper permission before using the name of the vocalist in your track, as it can have negative consequences for both the vocalist and your own reputation as an artist. Always be sure to fully understand the terms and conditions of any vocal purchase and seek guidance if necessary.
What files do i receive after buying a vocal?
After purchasing a vocal, you can expect to receive all the individual vocal stems, including lead vocals, background vocals, harmony vocals, and any other vocal parts that were recorded. These vocals will be provided in their raw, isolated form, meaning that they will not have any accompanying music behind them. It's important to note that the instrumental track will not be included in the files you receive.
Why can't i filter on genre?
There are a few reasons why you may not be able to filter music by genre on our platform. Firstly, we want to encourage users to expand their musical horizons and try listening to other genres. By not offering the option to filter by genre, we hope to inspire users to discover new and diverse sounds that may not necessarily fit into their typical musical preferences. Additionally, many times, vocals and musical elements from different genres can be incorporated into productions and can bring a fresh perspective to the creative process. Overall, our goal is to provide a diverse range of music that can inspire and enrich the user's musical journey.
What does 'exclusive' mean?
Exclusive refers to something that is only available to one person or group. In the context of vocals for music production, an exclusive vocal is a recording of a voice that can only be purchased by one person. This means that once the vocal is purchased, the buyer has the sole rights to use and distribute the vocal in their music. Non-exclusive vocals, on the other hand, can be sold and distributed to multiple people, and are not exclusive to any one person or group. Exclusive vocals are often more expensive than non-exclusive vocals, as they offer the buyer a level of exclusivity and ownership that cannot be found with non-exclusive vocals.
